The advanced search feature in the Record Viewer page helps you search for existing values based upon the initial or actual values and then select the same from the Results list. With this feature, you can perform the following actions.

To build an advanced search statement, in the Search for list, select the entity you want to search for and click Add. Alternatively, you can enter the exact value in the search text box and click Add. This feature works only if the value entered is unique.

To view the details of a particular result after the search results are generated, click the result. You can view the search results in XML and object views. Use the XML key in the toolbar to switch from viewing the details in XML view to viewing the details in Object view.

To view the decoded result for base64 encoded values, select the base64 encoded text and click the unlock icon in the toolbar.

To clear the search results, click Clear.
