This release includes the following version.
- Acuo STS 3.0.x
Enhancements
-
Acuo STS now supports token based authentication along with the existing username-password based authentication. Acuo STS authenticates the user or client based on another token received from an external identity provider which is included in the trusted token issuers list.
-
Acuo STS now provides federated authentication. Federated authentication allows a security token service (STS) in a trusted domain to provide authentication information to another STS in a different domain. This is possible only after a trust relationship has been configured between these two domains.
- Acuo STS now supports format validations for HL7 II type (Instance Identifier) on claim values.
- Acuo STS now allows overriding of claims, based on trusted client Id. Client Id is the identifier for the user who generates the WS_Trust request for a new authentication token. If the Client-Id is configured as trusted, the user can override Acuo STS default claim settings with the new user provided claims (added within the request).
