Follow the steps below as soon as you create your cluster:
- Don’t allow Hazelcast to bind to all network interfaces (deactivated by default, defined via the alfresco.hazelcast.bind.any=false property).
- Specify which network interfaces should be used by Hazelcast for clustering purposes (the interface specification is disabled by default).
- Specify the Hazelcast port and don’t enable the port auto-increment feature.
- Configure the network appropriately within the cluster, so that Hazelcast ports are only reachable within the boundaries of the internal network that connects the cluster members within each other.
Optionally, the default Alfresco Hazelcast XML configuration can be completely overridden for fine-tuning purposes. To change the configuration file, override the alfresco.hazelcast.configLocation property and provide your own configuration file.
