After the option to e-mail the batch is selected, there are additional settings that must be specified. Specifically, you must complete the following:

  • Set the Attachment options.

  • Set the E-mail Settings.

  • Send a Test E-mail Message.

To set the e-mail options:

  1. Click Attachments. The E-mail Attachment Options window is displayed.

    The attachments can be password protected and the password can either be omitted from the e-mail, sent in the e-mail body, or sent in a separate e-mail for increased security.

  2. Select the appropriate options and Click OK.
  3. Click E-Mail Settings to specify e-mail recipients and the message contents.

    OR

    Enable the Prompt at Scan Time for E-Mail Settings check box to prompt the Scan or Import operator for this information.

    These settings can be used together. If you pre-define an e-mail message and recipients and enable Prompt at Scan Time for E-Mail Settings as well, the pre-defined message appears as a default to the Scan or Import operator, who can then override any of the fields. See Mail Defaults.

  4. Click Send Test E-Mail to send a test e-mail message to the configured recipient(s).
