The Document Summary information is output to the Document Properties window in the output file. You can enter text in these fields or click Define to display the Document Property window, where you can further define and format the following fields:

Title

Author
-
Subject
-
Keywords
Specifically, you can:

Define the variables you want to use in the definition string.
In the System Defined Control Fields section, select a variable and click Add Field. The variable is added to the Title Document Definition String.

Format date variables, if applicable.
If a date variable is included in the Title Document Definition String, then the date can be formatted to your specifications. To format the date, click Date Formatting and select the date variable you want to format. In the Date Format Settings window, click the format you want to use and click Add to Date Format.

Add a Prompting Control
If a prompting control was used at scan time, the value entered into the prompt can be included in the Document Summary of the Microsoft Word document. To add a prompting control, click Prompting Control. On the Document Control window, select the prompting control that should be used and click OK.
