The Configure Kodak Document Image Level Options window allows you to:

  • Specify that Kodak Image Levels to use for the capture profile

  • Configure how Image Levels are used in CAPTUREit

Each tab in the Configure Kodak Image Level Options window corresponds to a specific level. Every level has the same options available in CAPTUREit. A Kodak scanner that recognizes patch pages and has image address support is required for this feature.

  1. From the Create New Capture Profile or Edit Capture Profile | Separation tab, click Kodak Image Levels Setup.

The Configure Kodak Document Image Level Options window is displayed.

  2. Select the appropriate level tab.
  3. Select the Detect Level check box to activate the options on the tab
  4. Select the Delete Back Side of Page check box, if needed. This is useful with duplex scanning and the back of the level page is blank or unwanted. Enable this option only if you are scanning in duplex. Otherwise, the next image after the level page is deleted.
  5. Select an option from the Level Action drop down list to determine the action to take when a level is detected. Options include:
    • New DocSet: A new document set is created when this level is detected.

    • New Batch: A new batch is created when this level is detected.

  6. Select whether to delete or keep the level page from the Level Page Type drop down list.
  7. Click OK.
