The options in the Data Link Properties wizard may be different depending on the database selected.

  1. From the CAPTUREit Server Properties | Database tab, click Configure Connection to open the Data Link Properties window.
  2. On the Provider tab, select the OLE DB Provider you want to connect to and click Next.
  3. On the Connection tab, enter the connection string information, such as the data source and server logon information.
    Note:

    The Connection tab options vary according to the Provider selected. This example uses the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers.

  4. Click Test Connection to test whether the data source connection has been accurately configured. If the connection is successful, a “Test connection succeeded” message appears.
  5. Click OK on subsequent screens.
