Use Default Database (Access) |
This automatically creates an Access database with the necessary CAPTUREit Server database tables and stores the tables in a file called CAPTUREit.mdb. By default, this file is located in the directory C:\ProgramData\AnyDoc\CAPTUREit Server\Control. |
Use Specific Database Connection (SQL, Oracle, etc.) |
Select this option when using an SQL or Oracle database. |
Configure Connection |
Click to set up the Data Link Properties. For more information about setting up the data link, see Configure the Data Link Properties (Configure the Data Link Properties). After the data link properties are set up, the Database Connection Information field is automatically populated. |
Verify Database |
Click to test the connection to the configured database. |
Database Connection Information |
Displays the path or data source details for the configured database. |
Generate Database Creation Scripts |
Click to generate basic database creation scripts that will set up the tables in the database. The script file names are CAPTUREit_SQL.sql and CAPTUREit_Oracle.sql. For more information about database creation scripts, see Generate Database Creation Scripts (Generate Database Creation Scripts). |

If multiple CAPTUREit Servers are installed, a database must be selected for each CAPTUREit Server. However, only one set of database creation scripts should be generated.
