There are two methods for running AnyDoc installers: interactive and silent. An interactive installation requires user interaction with dialog boxes during the installation process. A silent installation does not require user interaction during the installation process.
AnyDoc installers consist of an executable file (.exe). The executable validates that all prerequisites are met before proceeding with the installation. If any missing prerequisites are identified, the installer attempts to install the prerequisite. Most missing prerequisites can be installed directly from the installer before continuing the installation process.
The Microsoft .NET Framework prerequisite must always be installed separately before running the EXE installer. Refer to Microsoft .NET Framework Requirements for more information.
When performing a silent installation, the command line parameters must be entered precisely. For more information, see Running the Installer From the Command Line.
