The buttons on the Quality Assurance toolbar are:

Release Batch |

Releases the batch to the next phase. If there are other batches pending QA, the next batch appears, if not, you are returned to the Workflow Manager. |
Delete Batch |
[Alt+D] |
Deletes the batch from the system. You are prompted to confirm this action. |
Delete Image |
[Delete] |
Deletes the current image or any images previously flagged for deletion. You are prompted to confirm the deletion. Deletion is immediate and permanent. |
Flag Image for Delete |
[Alt+Delete] |
Flags the current image for deletion at a later time. An X appears next to the image in the list. This option can be used to delete multiple images simultaneously by flagging the images and then pressing the [Delete] key. Images flagged for deletion must be either deleted or unflagged before you can release the batch. If you exit QA without releasing the batch, any delete flags are removed. |
Rotate Image + 90 |
[Alt+9] |
Rotates the current image 90ยบ clockwise and saves it at that orientation. |
Print Image |
[Alt+P] |
Prints the current image. |
Rescan Image |
[Alt+S] |
Rescans the current image and replaces it with the new image. |
Scanner Settings |
[Alt+Q] |
Opens the Scanner Settings window to change the scanner quality parameters for darkening or lightening purposes. See Scanner Settings Overview. |
Configure/Apply Image Cleanup |
[Alt+I] |
Performs image cleanup actions on the selected image, such as de-skew, black border crop, and registration. This is only available for black and white images. See Image Cleanup Parameters Overview. |
Color Convert |
[Alt+V] |
Replaces color image with black and white image. If scanning in multi-stream the black and white image is replaced with an enhanced black and white image. See Convert Color Images to Bitonal. |
Append Images to End of Batch |
[+] |
Appends images from either the scanner or disk to the end of the batch. See Append or Insert Images by Scanning, page Append or Insert Images from Disk. |
Insert Images before Selected Image |
[Insert] |
Inserts images from either the scanner or disk before the current image. See Append or Insert Images by Scanning, or Append or Insert Images from Disk. |
Set Insert/Append from Disk Mode |
[Ctrl+V] |
This button acts as a toggle. When it is pressed down, images are inserted or appended from files on the disk instead of scanning. See Append or Insert Images by Scanning. |
Activate Drag & Drop Reorder Mode |
[Alt+R] |
This button acts as a toggle to activate and deactivate drag and drop reorder mode. Drag and drop commands are ignored when this button is not pressed down. See Reorder Images. |
Undo Last Reorder |
[Ctrl+Z] |
Reverses the last reorder command. |
Pan Mouse Mode |
Select this mode to be able to click and drag the image display within the viewing area. |

Rope and Expand Mouse |
Select this mode to be able to magnify an area of the image by clicking and dragging. Right-click the image to zoom back out. |

Align Document Sets |
[Ctrl+D] |
Reprocesses the batch for document set alignments created from patch codes. Use this option if the capture profile is configured to create document sets from patch pages, and you have inserted or appended patch pages in QA. Only activated patch codes are available for manual insertion. |
Create Attachment |
[Alt+A] or [Ctrl+A] |
If the batch is destined for OCR for AnyDoc, you can classify an image as an attachment page. When OCR for AnyDoc processes the batch, the Classification phase is skipped for the image since it has already been classified as an attachment. To make everything from the current image to the end of the batch an attachment, use [Ctrl+A]. This button works as a toggle. If the image is flagged as an attachment page, when you select it and click the button again, you can remove the attachment ID from the image. |
View Properties |
[Ctrl+N] |
Opens the View Properties window to change the number of images displayed. See Set View Properties. |
Add Barcode Value |
[Shift+B] |
Opens the Add Barcode Index Value window to modify a Barcode value or manually add a Barcode value that was not read by the engine in the QA phase. For more information, see Assign A Barcode Value. |
Stop Quality Assure |
[Alt+X] |
Exits the QA phase. The batch is not released to the next phase. Changes made in the current session are saved, except any images flagged for deletion but not deleted are unflagged. |
