Searchable PDF

PDF Output Type

Options include Document Summary Only or Document Summary with Full Page OCR Text. If the image is created with searchable text, a full page OCR is done and the text is included in the .pdf file.

PDF Output Version

PDFs can be created using Adobe Acrobat version 1.5 or 1.6.

A PDF/A can be created using Adobe Acrobat version 1.4. There are two levels of PDF/A files:

• PDF/A-1a

• PDF/A-1b

PDF/A-1a is supported by AnyDoc. It ensures reliable reproduction of the document's appearance and creates a tagged PDF, which includes the document structure. This ensures that the document content can be searched.
