Documents can be scanned into <cit> by clicking the Start Batch Scanning button on the Workflow Manager toolbar. All scanned documents are added to the selected profile. After scanning is complete, an entry is created beneath the profile that displays when the documents were scanned and how many were scanned if Quality Assurances is to be performed on the images. If QA is not performed the images are output to the specified destination.

  1. Select a profile in the Workflow Manager window to associate with the scanned documents.
  2. Insert forms in scanner.
  3. Click the Scan button.

    Depending on the capture profile, you may be prompted to enter information, such as batch header information or an e-mail address to send images to, before scanning begins.

    The Batch Scanning Status window is displayed. For more information, seeView the Batch Scanning Status.

  4. If the Batch Subfolder option on the Edit/Create New Capture Profile | Output Directory - Sub-Directory tab is set to Prompt at Scan/Import Time, the Batch Destination Sub-Folder Prompt window is displayed. Enter the name and location of the sub-directory to create.

  5. When the scanner is empty, the Scanner Countdown window is displayed. For more information, seeScanner Countdown.
