This tab is only available if you are using a Kodak scanner with image address functionality and a Kofax interface is selected in the Configure Scanner Settings | Interface tab or you selected the Kodak interface.

CAPTUREit has no programmatic control of the Kodak image address, other than the fixed field portion. If you want the imprinter string in your output, and the imprinter string is comprised of the image address, you must mirror the setup from the Kodak Mode Setup software on this window.

  1. On the Scanner Settings window (see Scanner Settings Overview), click the Kodak Image Address tab.
  2. Select an Index Format for the selected scan mode.
  3. In the Image Address Format section, enter the number of characters for each of the four fields of the image address.
The maximum length is fifteen characters, which includes twelve alphanumeric characters and three delimiters. Fixed Field is alphanumeric and Levels 1, 2, and 3 are numeric.
  4. To delimit the parts of the image address with periods, click the Delimit Fields with a Period check box.
  5. To override the predefined Kodak fixed field value that is entered on the scanner front panel by the Scan operator, click the Override Fixed Field Value check box and select one of the following override values:
    • Set To Julian Date

Set the fixed field value to the day number within the year. For example, February 2nd is 033.

    • Other

Set the fixed field value to the value you specify.

  6. Click OK.
