The options in the Kodak Scan Window tab apply specifically to Kodak scanners. This tab is only available if the Kodak interface is selected in the Configure Scanner Settings | Interface tab. These options allow corrections at the scanner level to compensate for differences in camera alignment. If the scanned images contain black borders at the top, left, or right, you can adjust the scan window to account for the shifts. For example, if there is a quarter of an inch black border at the top (which also means that 1/4 is missing at the bottom of the page), set the Top adjustment to 25 (1/4 inch).

  1. On the Scanner Settings window (see Scanner Settings Overview), click the Kodak Scan Window tab.
  2. In the Front Scan Window Adjustment and Back Scan Window Adjustment sections, complete the following fields:
    • Left

Sets the amount, in hundredths of an inch, to shift the scan window from left to right.

    • Top

Sets the amount, in hundredths of an inch, to shift the scan window from top to bottom.

  3. Click OK.
