Option

Description

Dynamic Threshold

Specify if the contrast settings should dynamically change, which will increase clarity when scanning characters of various darkness and thickness.

Image Emphasis

Set the degree of sharpness or softness to place on the image.

Noise Filter

To remove random black dots or specks from the image, select one of the following options:

  • 2 x 2 Matrix

Removes particles up to 2 pixels by 2 pixels in size.

  • 3 x 3 Matrix

Removes particles up to 3 pixels by 3 pixels in size.

  • 4 x 4 Matrix

Removes particles up to 4 pixels by 4 pixels in size.

  • 5 x 5 Matrix
