Settings in the Kofax Options tab are available for Kofax interfaces with image filtering capabilities.

Activate Kofax Image Filtering |
Activates the selected options. If any of the Kofax Image Filtering options are active, the associated button has an asterisk (*). |

Black Border |
Removes the black border around an image. For more information, see Set Kofax Black Border Properties. |

Despeckle. |
Removes noise on an image. For more information, see Set Kofax Despeckle Properties. |

Image Filter |
Set and activate filters to enhance the image. For more information, see Set Kofax Image Filter Properties. |

Streak |
Set the maximum width of streaks to remove and activate the removal of those streaks. For more information, seeSet Kofax Streak Properties. |

Deskew |
Set and activate the skew detection and correction options for images. For more information, see Set Kofax Deskew Properties. |

Deshade |
Set and activate the options for the detection and removal of shaded areas. For more information, see Set Kofax Deshade Properties. |

Line Removal |
Set and activate the options for the detection and removal of horizontal and vertical lines and the detection and repair of horizontal and vertical characters. For more information, see Set Kofax Line Removal Properties. |

Activate Kofax Advanced Settings (Minimum 3.6 Required) |
Activates the options selected in the Advanced Properties window. |

Kofax Advanced Properties |
Opens the Advanced Properties window. The specific properties and advanced settings vary depending on the scanner. For more information, see your scanner documentation. |

Imprinter is Activated in the Advanced Properties (ISIS) or VRS |
Indicates that the options to include the imprinter string in the output and save the incrementing number are activated in the Advanced Properties (ISIS) window. If this option is not selected but the corresponding options in the Advanced Properties window are, then the imprint and incremented number will not be included in the output image; they will only be included in the scanned image. |

Prompt at Scan Time for Counter/Image Address |
Prompts the operator to modify the image address or counter at scan time. |
