The Interface tab only appears when you access the Scanner Settings window from the Settings menu (Settings | Scanner Setup). Information in this tab applies to the specific scanner connected to the workstation.

Scanner Interface |
Select the appropriate interface for the scanner connected to the workstation. Scanner interface options include:
The Source Version section displays information about the selected scanner. |

Unique Scan Station Identifier |
Enter an identifier for the scan station that is unique among the scan stations running CAPTUREit. This can be used in batch control expressions, image control expressions, and imprinter strings, among others. |

Scan Polling Timeout |
Enter the number of minutes and seconds that the scanner should poll for work after scanning a page. |

Image and Display |
Enter the image sequence number to display when batches of forms are scanned into CAPTUREit. On high speed scanners, a low number can degrade scanner performance. |

Images While Scanning |
Select the number of images to simultaneously display during scanning. |

Select the image to display during scanning. Options include Both Sides, Front Only, or Back Only. |

Kofax About |
This button only appears if a Kofax interface is selected. Displays information about the Kofax interface. |

Reset |
Resets the connection between CAPTUREit and the scanner. If you have more than one scanner configured in Kofax, you are given the option of selecting a different scanner to use in CAPTUREit. To choose a different scanner, click Yes. On the Select Scan Source window, select a scanner. |
