VBScript can be applied to capture profiles during specific processing phases, such as prior to scanning, after scanning, or validate prompted controls, which are called events. See VBScript Overview for details on the CAPTUREit object model, regular expressions and script examples.

Do the following to access the VBScript Management window:

Select Settings | VBScript Management

From the Workflow Manager, select a profile, right-click and select VBScript Management (All Profiles).

Select a profile's event to attach VBScript and click Edit Script. The VBScript window is displayed.

Enter the VBScript to attach to the event and click OK. The profile and the event that the VBScript is associated with appears with a green icon. Profile events without VBScript appear with a red icon.
