There are two system-defined groups; Default and Admin. These groups cannot be deleted and the available permissions vary for each group. New groups can also be created and users can be assigned to those groups. Permissions assigned at the group level cannot be overridden at the user level.

  1. From the Management menu, click Groups/User Management. The Group Security Settings window is displayed.
  2. Select the site to which you want to add a group and click Add Group. The Group Settings window is displayed.
  3. Select the permissions for this group. For more information about the available permissions, see Permissions Settings.
  4. Click OK. The group is added to the Group Security Settings window.
  5. Click OK.
