To place a tool onto the palette, click and drag the icon of the tool from the toolbox to the workflow.
Most tools will have arrows attached to their right side. These arrows are called connectors. Connectors join tools together and allow a user to direct the workflow.

To connect two tools together, left click and drag the arrow head of a connector onto the icon of the tool you want to connect it to.
The red line will change to green when the tools are properly connected.

Select the appropriate alignment key in the toolbar to align to the top, bottom, left and/or right.
