When Infiniworx is being used on a single station for demonstration purposes, a MS Access database should suffice. In a real production environment, a true database server should be used. It is recommended that you use MS SQL Server.

From the Options menu, select Configuration. The Infiniworx Management Console Configuration window is displayed.

The Infiniworx Management Console Configuration window contains the following options:

Connection String

The connection string used to access the database.

Data Store

The path to the datastore.

Database Polling Interval

The time between database requests in seconds. A small number may make the application unresponsive and/or lose data in the views.

Logging Verbosity

The log detail level.

Number of Days to Retain Saved Batches

The number of days to keep saved batches before they are automatically deleted. Default value of 0 keeps all batches until they are manually deleted.

Tab Location

The location of the tabs.

Tab Style

The style used to render the tabs.

View Persistence

Description

Minutes to Keep Transactions

The minutes to display transaction detail before discarding the transactions.

Prior Seconds For Batch List

In the Batch View, the number of seconds prior to now used to retrieve the batch list. Some batches may complete so quickly that the Batch Activity view does not see them. This value allows us to keep batch records longer to view those batches.
