Using the Infiniworx Management Console, you are able to issue commands to any of the configured stations on the network. Select the station(s) to which you want to send a command, right-click to display the drop-down list of commands, and select the command.
Within a few seconds, the stations that receive the command will act on it. If no stations are selected when a command is issued, the system asks if you want to send the command to all available stations.
The following table lists all the available commands that can be sent:
Command |
Description |
---|---|
Start Program |
Starts the Infiniworx Editor application. |
Exit Program |
Terminates the application. |
Start Production |
Starts Infiniworx Production mode for the stations currently assigned workflows. Runs the application as a tray icon. |
Stop Production |
Ends production mode and returns Infiniworx from a tray icon to a normal application state. |
Pause Production |
Pauses production mode, but leaves Infiniworx running as a tray icon. |
Resume Production |
Resumes production mode on the currently assigned workflow. |
Update Program |
Update the program on a specific station. |
Assign Workflows |
Assigns specific workflows to a specific machine. |
Remove Station |
Removes specific machines from the production environment. |
Start Program and Production |
Starts the Infiniworx Editor application and then starts the Production mode for stations currently assigned workflows. |
Starting the Infiniworx Editor application from the Infiniworx Management Console (using the Start Program or Start Program and Production commands) requires the Infiniworx Control Program to be running. If this process (InfiniworxControl.exe) is not already running, start it using the shortcut in the Windows Start menu at Start | All Programs | Hyland | Infiniworx | Infiniworx Control Program.
When a single station is selected, more information is displayed in the lower half of the screen.
