When Infiniworx is being used on a single station for demonstration purposes, a MS Access database should suffice. In a real production environment, a true database server should be used. Hyland Software recommends SQL Server.

  1. From the System menu, select Configure Production Database. The Production Database Settings dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click the Browse button. The Choose Connection String dialog box is displayed.
  3. On the Choose Connection String dialog box, select the Data Source from the drop-down list.
  4. Select a database provider from the OLE DB Provider drop-down list.
  5. Enter a server or file name in the Server or file name field.
  6. Enter the information required to log into the database.
    Note:

Set up and login to a database varies depending on the type of database being configured.

  7. Click Test Connection to validate the database.
  8. After the database is selected and tested, click OK to close the Choose Connection String dialog box.
