This tool is used to import emails from IMAP or POP3 sources and produce EML files for further processing. The tool processes in First In / First Out (FIFO) mode, ensuring that emails do not get backlogged.
The Email Import tool does not automatically decompress Zip file attachments. This function is controlled by the Decompress Zips option on the Process Email tool (page Process Email).
