- In the image viewer, hold the right mouse button and drag from top to bottom or from bottom to top of the check area. The red overlay turns to gray when you have selected enough of the image to crop the check area. The gray overlay returns to red if you select too much of the image.

Release the right mouse button when you have selected the check area. The Crop Preview window is displayed, showing a preview of the cropped image.

Click one of the following options in the Crop Preview window:

Accept: Designates the cropped image as a cropped check (Check Status 1) and returns the operator to the image viewer window.

Recrop: Returns the user to the image viewer window without cropping the image, allowing the user to right-click and re-select the check area.

Show Both: Displays the cropped back of check along with the manually cropped check.
Tip:You can also accept a cropped image in the Crop Preview window by pressing Enter.
