Description

Used with the Line object to set the background color for specific lines in a zone. Used with the OMR Zone or Zone object to set the background color for all mark sense boxes in the entire zone. Used with the OMR Box Zone object to set the background color for the specified mark sense zone.

The color can be entered as a name or a hexadecimal value. The hexadecimal value is specified in RGB format. For example, "#RRGGBB" where RR,GG,BB is the 2 digit hexadecimal value.

Syntax

object.location.BackgroundColor="color value"

Parameters

Object is a reference to a Zone, Line, OMR Box, or OMR Zone object. For more information, see Line Object (page Line Object), Zone Object (page Zone Object), OMR Box Object (page OMR Box Object), or OMR Zone Object (page OMR Zone Object).

Location is a reference to the line or zone that the background color is applied to. If no location it specified the value is applied to all lines in the zone.

BackgroundColor is the command.

Color Value is a reference to the color that should be applied. To reset the color to the default, set to "".

Examples

Sets the background color for all lines in the Zone to Red using the color name:

Zone = Form.Zone(10)

Zone.BackgroundColor = “Red”

Sets the background color for all lines in the Zone to Red using the hexadecimal value:

Zone = Form.Zone(10)

Zone.BackgroundColor = “#FF0000”

Sets the background color for line 1 in the Zone to Green:

Zone.Line(1).BackgroundColor = “Green”
