Attach VBScript to a template by rules at the form level or the zone level, and also to a specific processing event. SeeProcessing Events (page Processing Events). VBScript is stored in the template file (.FRF) like other parameters.
VBScript can be added in the following ways:
-
Access the VBScript Editor window from the form level Rules Parameters |VBScript window to apply both form level and zone level scripts. If you are going to apply VBScript at both the form level and the zone level, or if you are going to attach VBScript to multiple zones, use the VBScript Editor. For more information, seeVBScript Editor (page VBScript Editor).
-
Use the buttons in the Rules Parameters | VBScript window to scripts to apply scripts to individual zones or the entire form.
Depending on the type of script, you can test it either by clicking in the zone with the script attached to preview it, or by running the template through Interactive Processing.
