To add a project field, complete the following steps.

  1. On the class viewer area of a project, click a class’s thumbnail to select it and then click the Edit project fields icon .
  2. In the Edit Project Fields dialog box, click the Add an extraction field icon .
  3. Enter the following information.
    1. In the Name field, enter the field name as it should appear in the document viewer.
      Note: Field names cannot contain spaces.
    2. In the Type list, select the type which represents the values to be extracted. For more information, refer to the Validation chapter.
  4. Click Save.
