Project fields consist of the definitions of the fields that ALM can extract.
You can define the name, type and description of these fields that appear in the document viewer form. The field’s type determines the values that are valid for that field. For more information on field validation, refer to the Validation chapter.
Each project has a field that contains the detected document class which by default is called document_class_id. This field is generated automatically. You can modify its name but cannot delete it. You can add, modify, and delete other fields.
Based on the project fields, you can define class fields that are relevant to a particular class.
