The DstHost.exe.config file contains the database connection string.

The Startup type of the service is set to Automatic (Delayed Start), so that the service starts approximately 2 minutes after other services have started. The administrator can modify the specific delay for a system in Windows Registry. For more information, see the Microsoft Windows documentation.

The service starts automatically after installation and restarts according to the following rules:
- The service restarts after 1 second if it stops working for the first time.
- The service restarts after 30 seconds if it stops working for the second time.
- The administrator must restart the service manually if it stops working for the third time on the same day.

The Brainware Intelligent Capture Runtime Service Manager and the Brainware Intelligent Capture System Monitoring services are dependencies of the Brainware Intelligent Capture Core Service.
Starting either will result in the starting of the Brainware Intelligent Capture Core service, and when stopping the Brainware Intelligent Capture Core service, the user is informed that these services will also be stopped.
