To upgrade to BIC Foundation 23.1, review or complete the following tasks as necessary.

• Prepare for the Update
• Upgrade from Version 5.3 or Later

  To upgrade from versions prior to 5.3, refer to the Brainware Intelligent Capture Update Guide EP2 or earlier.

• Update the database schema:
  • Update the SQL Server Database Schema
  • Update the Oracle Database Schema
• Modify the Database Connection Strings
• Convert Existing Project Files to the Current Version
• Configure the Application Modules
