You can use more than one reading zone on each form. To create a reading zone, complete the following steps.

You must have set up a classification scheme.
Note: For more information about creating and editing reading zones, see About reading zones and About the Zone Analysis Engine.
  1. Load a document that belongs to the selected class into the viewer.
  2. Switch to Definition Mode.
  3. In the left pane, on the Classes tab, right-click a class and then click Show Properties.
  4. In the right pane, on the Classification tab, select the Forms Classify Engine.
  5. From the View menu, select Show Page.
  6. On the document toolbar, click one of the following buttons to specify the zone type.
    • To activate the selection tool, click the Select object button.
    • To create an OCR reading zone, click the Insert OCR zone button.
    • To create an OMR reading zone, click the Insert OMR zone button.
    • To create a bar code reading zone, click the Insert barcode zone button.
    • To create an anchor, click the Insert anchor button.
  7. In the document, click and drag to create the reading zone around the form identifier.
    Note: Make the reading zone minimally larger than the identifier. Each zone has a label that displays the name of the zone. The initial name is created from the word Zone and a consecutive number.
  8. In the left pane, select the project.
  9. In the right pane, on the Classification tab, select the Forms Classify Engine.
  10. On the Forms Classify tab, select one of the following options.
    • Binary classification. Possible results of forms classification are Yes and Maybe.
    • Weighted classification. Forms classification returns a confidence value as result.
