Learning always attempts to cover the entire classification tree and omits only classes with insufficient learnsets. You can check at any time whether a class has already been learned or whether it requires re-learning. To check the learn status of a class, complete the following steps.

1. Switch to Definition Mode.
2. In the left pane, on the Classes tab, right-click a class and then click Show Properties.
3. In the right pane, on the Classification tab, under Used Classification Engines for this DocClass, select an engine.
4. If the engine state in the lower right pane displays Class is currently not trained, click the Learn documents button.
