To identify and resolve OCR problems, complete the following steps.

  1. On the toolbar, click one of the highlighting buttons.
  2. In case of OCR problems, complete any of the following substeps.
    • Improve the quality of the images, for example ensure to scan the document with a resolution of 300 DPI or review your scanner settings.
    • Adjust the default OCR settings. For more information, see Specify the OCR Settings.
    Note: Changing the OCR settings on project level is a severe intervention. Exclude other reasons before you do this.
