Create a Reading Zone - Designer - Foundation 23.1 - Foundation 23.1 - Brainware - external

To create a reading zone, complete the following steps.

1. Load a document that belongs to the respective class.
2. Switch to Definition Mode.
3. In the left pane, on the Fields tab, select a field.
4. In the right pane, on the Analysis tab, from the Available Analysis Engines list, select Zone Analysis Engine.
5. In the middle pane, complete one of the following substeps.
   • To create an OCR reading zone, click the Insert OCR zone button.
   • To create an OMR reading zone, click the Insert OMR zone button.
   • To create a bar code reading zone, click the Insert barcode zone button.
6. On the document, drag to mark the required zone.
   Note: The zone must be large enough to hold the expected content, but not much larger.
