Assign Reading Zones to a Field - Designer - Foundation 23.1 - Foundation 23.1 - Brainware - external

To actually extract data from reading zones, you need to assign them to fields. Complete the following steps.

1. Load a document that belongs to the respective class.
2. Switch to Definition Mode.
3. In the left pane, on the Fields tab, select a field.
4. In the right pane, on the Analysis tab, from the Available Analysis Engines list, select Zone Analysis Engine.
5. On the Zone Analysis tab, complete the following substeps.
   1. In the Zone Name column, select a zone from the list. In the Page Number column, specify whether the reading zone is on the first or the last page.
   2. To create multiple candidates from the zone analysis, repeat the previous step using the next table rows.
      Note: If you map multiple reading zones to a single data field, a candidate evaluation must take place.
