The evaluation process determines a class or the contents of a field from confidence levels, weights or distances for classes or candidates. BIC supports the following methods for candidate evaluation.
- Evaluation using scripts
- Evaluation using the Brainware Extraction engine or the Brainware Field Extraction engine
Setting up the field evaluation is not required, if you use scripts or if you use zone analysis with a 1:1 zone/field relationship.
In all other cases, you must specify an evaluation method. During evaluation, BIC analyzes the areas around each candidate for characteristic properties that can be learned.
