To test the extraction Definition Mode, complete the following steps.

1. Open a document.
2. Complete one of the following substeps.
   • To test the classification only, in the left pane, select the Classes tab.
   • To test classification and extraction, in the left pane, select the Fields tab.
3. Optional. Complete the following substeps.
   1. To highlight all candidates for the currently selected field in maroon, on the toolbar, click the Highlight Candidates button.
   2. To view the weight of a candidate, in the middle pane, move the mouse over the candidate.
4. Complete the following substeps.
   1. To highlight all fields in the document, on the toolbar, click the Highlight Fields button.
      Note: Valid fields highlight in green, invalid fields highlight in red.
   2. To view the name of a field as a tooltip, in the middle pane, move the mouse over the field.
5. To analyze the documents, complete any of the following substeps.
   • To process the current document, on the toolbar, click the Classify / analyze current document button.
   • To process the next document, on the toolbar, click the Process next document button.
   • To process all documents in the current set starting with the current one, on the toolbar, click the Process documents starting with current document button.
