To prepare a project for multipage detection, complete the following steps.

  1. From the Options menu, select Settings.
  2. In the Settings dialog box, on the Input Mode tab, select Save Execution Results to Workdoc and then click OK.
  3. Switch to Definition Mode.
  4. In the left pane, on the Classes tab, right-click the project and then click Show Multipage Detection.
  5. In the right pane, on the General Settings tab, complete the following substeps.
    1. Select Activate Multipage Detection.
    2. From the Choose Default list, to specify the detection starting point, select First Page or Following Page.
    3. Optional. To keep the page sizes similar, select Similar Page Size Required and in the Tolerance box, enter a number or click an arrow.
  6. In the right pane, on the Phrase Multipage Detection tab, select Activate.
  7. On the General tab, adjust the values for Threshold and Distance.
  8. On the First Page, Subseq. Page, and Last Page tabs, to define phrases for the different pages, complete the following substeps.
    1. In the New Phrase field, enter a keyword or a phrase and then click Ins.
      Note: The maximum character length for a phrase is 32.
    2. Optional. From the Position list, select a position.
    3. Optional. From the Significance list, select a significance.
    4. To modify the phrase settings, complete the steps in Edit a Phrase.
