Modify the General Validation Rules for a Check Box Field - Designer - Foundation 23.1 - Foundation 23.1 - Brainware - external

To modify the general validation rules for a check box field, complete the following steps.

1. Optional. In the right pane, on the General tab, in the Checkbox Caption field, enter a free text check box caption, such as Yes/No, Accept/Decline, or True/False.
2. In the Checked Value field, enter the value for a selected check box according to the value you specified in the Checkbox Caption field.
3. In the Unchecked Value field, enter the value for a cleared check box according to the value you specified in the Checkbox Caption field.
4. Complete one of the following substeps.
   • To specify whether a check box is selected by default, select Checked.
   • To specify whether a check box is cleared by default, select UnChecked.
