To add a viewer to a form, complete the following steps.
- On the right vertical toolbar, click the Add new viewer element button.
- On the form, click and drag to create the viewer.
- Right-click the viewer and then click Properties.

In the
Properties dialog box, from the
Assigned Field list, select a field.
Note: If the content that displays depends on the selected document only or on the field that is selected by the user at runtime, leave the field empty.
- Optional. If you want the viewer to cover the entire page of the current document, select Whole Image and specify the page number in the Page field.

Optional. If you want the viewer to cover a fixed area of a page
of the current document, complete the following substeps.
- Select Fixed Zone and specify the page number in the Page field.
- To specify the distance of the viewer area from the top and left edge of the page, and the width and height of the area, modify the Left, Top, Width, and Height percentage values.

Optional. If you want the viewer to cover the area of the document
that contains the words used to fill the associated field, complete the
following substeps.
Note: This works no matter whether the field assignment is set at design time or at runtime.
- Select Field.
- To specify that a white border displays around the area covered by the viewer, under Border, specify the Left/Right and Top/Bottom values.

Optional. If you want the viewer to cover a rectangle around the
area of the document that contains the words used to fill the associated field,
select
Field in Zone and modify the
Width and
Height values.
Note: This works no matter whether the field assignment is set at design time or at runtime.

Optional. If you want the viewer to cover the lines around the
area of the document that contains the words used to fill the associated field,
select
Field in Line.
Note: This works no matter whether the field assignment was set at design time or at runtime.
- Optional. Under Size & Position, modify the values for size and position of the viewer on the form.
