The silent installation process runs the SCM installer on
your system in the background using settings provided in the SCM configuration file. The
SCM configuration file contains all the relevant information pertaining to SCM
configuration such as, installation path, application pool identity, username and
password, certificate hash for SSL, database connection string and so on. You must enter
all the required information in the SCM configuration file (SCMSettings.xml) prior to running
the silent installation process.
To install SCM using the silent installer, complete the following steps.
