Even if the word does not belong to any candidates for the cell, you can insert single words, append or replace existing text in table cells. To insert words in table cells, complete the following steps.

  1. To append the selected text to the cell text, double-click the word or right-click in the document pane.
  2. Select Align & Copy to Current Field.
  3. To replace the cell text with the selected text, select the word, right-click and then click Copy to Current Field.
