With system access control enabled, access is denied to any system for which the role does not explicitly allow access.
It is therefore essential to configure the system access rights in Content Composer Studio before you enable system access control.
Access rights for a Content Composer Windows Service
The Windows user account assigned to the execution of the Windows service requires the following access rights.
- Access right to the Content Composer system that contains the Content Composer process to be executed.
- Access rights to the source and target system of the executed transfers, if the Transfer component is used in the Content Composer process to be executed.
Access rights for Content Composer Client Users
-
Content Composer Client users need access to the system that contains the MWS process used by the MWS server.
For more information, see The mws Element in Composer.MWS.exe.config.
-
If Odin views are enabled in Content Composer Client, users need access to the system that contains the Odin view query definitions.
For more information, see Configuring Odin Views for the Client.
