To control the initial launch behavior of the Studio, use the following parameters.

Start parameters have the following structure.

/parametername:Paramvalue

Note: If Paramvalue contains a space, the parameter must be surrounded by quotation marks.

Supported Parameters

Parameter Description

startsystem

System object id

Object id of the system you want to load automatically after application launch.

If the parameter is not set, Studio starts with the last system used.

Example

/startsystem:MySystemOId

startfolder

Folder name

This element defines which folder is selected in the Navigator.

If no start system is set, the parameter refers to the last system used.

The system name must not be included in the path.

Example

/startfolder:FolderName

credentials

Input: User name and password must be specified.

Silent: User name and password must be specified once. If the user activates the Save Password logon option, the data specified is used for future logons.

SilentUI: Use this parameter to reset a Silent password. The logon dialog displays again.

Windows: The logon uses the Windows user name and password. This setting is also used when the parameter credentials is not specified.
