This chapter describes the available options for user authentication and user authorization.

User authentication verifies user name and password while user authorization determines the user groups in the user store.

These groups are mapped to Content Composer roles to determine the user rights in the Content Composer applications.

Content Composer does not provide an own user store. Instead, Content Composer uses one of the following user stores:

  • Windows Domain or Workgroup
  • LDAP
