The start event can be customized to display a non-standard start and cancel button labels. Instead of Start process or Cancel process, the button can be adjusted to the needs of the end user, reading for example: Submit form.

1. Open a process in the Modeling application.
2. Select the Start event in the process.
3. In the right-hand pane, select the Customize start form checkbox.
   A dialog box appears under it.
4. Customize the start event:
   1. Check the Display start process button checkbox if you want to have a button to start the process. You can enter a customized button label in the Start process button label field.
   2. Check the Display cancel button checkbox if you want to have a button to start the process. You can enter a customized button label in the Cancel button label field.

   If you un-check any of the boxes, the button will not be displayed.

   Start events can be customized for each process separately.
