The actions that can be run against a decision table can be found in the panel right above the table. These are:

| Save decision table | Saves any changes made to the decision table. |
| Validate decision table | Runs validation against the decision table. Any errors can be seen in the log history at the bottom of the Modeling Application and are flagged in a pop-up box. |
| Editors menu | Allows the user to change the editor between the Decision Table Editor and XML Editor within the application. |
| Save as | Allows the user to save the table as a new instance. |
| Download decision table | Downloads the XML for the decision table. |
| Delete | Deletes the decision table. |
