Applications allow users to complete tasks related to their roles.
Application Types
Available applications vary depending on the subscriptions your organization has signed up for. Several types of applications are available through Hyland Experience.
- Account Applications
- Account applications, such as the Administration Portal, are provisioned at the account level. These applications are not associated with a specific subscription.
- Subscribed Account Applications
- Subscribed account applications are available through subscriptions and provisioned at the account level. A subscribed account application can be associated with multiple subscriptions for the same account. In this case, the application is provisioned only once for the account, and authorized users can access it as long as at least one of the associated subscriptions remains active.
- Subscribed Applications
- Subscribed applications are available through subscriptions and provisioned at the environment level.
Applications and User Access
The User Portal allows users to access Hyland Experience applications that have been made available to them based on their assigned roles. Users can access only applications to which they have been assigned roles by means of user group membership.
If an application is not available in the User Portal, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The user does not have sufficient permissions to access the application.
- The application is a service application. Service applications are not displayed in the User Portal.
- The application is not associated with an active subscription.
- The subscription associated with the application is not assigned to the user's current environment.
