Send a password reset link to a user who has forgotten his or her local Hyland Experience password.

Note: You cannot send password reset emails to users whose email addresses have not been verified.

To send a password reset link:

  1. Open the Administration Portal.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • On the Dashboard page, click Find User in the Users tile.
    • Select the Identity tab under the banner to display the Users page.
  3. Select the user from the Users page.
    • To filter the list of users, click in the Search users by name or email field and enter the name or email address of the user you want to find.
    • To change how the list is sorted, click the header of the column you want to sort by.
    The user configuration pane is displayed.
  4. Click Send Password Reset Email next to the Email field.
    A password reset link is sent to the specified email address.
